01 The origin
A single storefront in a small town.
Bob and Betty Williams started their family business in 1962 as an electrical contracting company shortly after Bob completed a successful tour with the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. Today, Williams Electric Supply is still a veteran owned and family operated business. We are one of the largest electrical distributors in the east Tennessee region and one of the largest lighting showrooms in the southeast United States.
Williams Electric Supply has built our business over the last 60 years by focusing on customer needs. We pride ourselves on having hard to find and one-of-a-kind items in stock and ready to sell at the best prices. We specialize in electrical distribution supplies for residential, commercial and industrial applications. In addition, our Johnson City location is home to one of the largest lighting showrooms in the southeastern United States!
